乐队介绍
36 CRAZYFISTS, founded in December 1994 and taking their title from the 1977 Jackie Chan movie 'San Shi Liu Mi Xing Quan', originally hailed from Anchorage, Alaska but would relocate to Portland, Oregon following the death of their original bass player, JD Stuart, in a car crash. Early releases included the 1995 'Boss Buckle' EP and the 1997 'Suffer Tree' EP. 36 CRAZYFISTS debuted on the album front with the 1997 effort 'In The Skin'.
It would be a 2002 Nu-Metal styled album, 'Bitterness The Star', that first garnered national recognition for the band. Promoting the James Paul Wisner produced, Andy Sneap mixed 'A Snow Capped Romance' album, this outing witnessing a shift into Metalcore territory, 36 CRAZYFISTS hooked up with MACHINE HEAD and GOD FORBID for the Summer 2004 'Weapons Of Mass Destruction' dates. The band would be forced to pull out of a 3rd May Townson, Maryland gig when singer Brock Lindow was taken ill. The band got straight back onto the road in July for US dates packaged with CANDIRIA, KITTIE and TWELVE TRIBES. Misfortune hit the band in September when bassist Mick Whitney fell offstage in Spokane, Washington, breaking his shoulder. Ensuing Canadian gigs saw former KILLSWITCH ENGAGE drummer Adam Dutkiewicz filling in. ...
